I can’t get over how much I love that there’s just a universally agreed upon strategy among the X-men that is just “throw wolverine at the thing”

That’s a cute foot fetish you got there, would you mind keeping it 25796323689432 feet away from me?

25796323689432 feet you say?

Two other women, also breast cancer survivors, said their husbands left them after they were diagnosed. Both had to have mastectomies (in case anyone doesn’t know, this is the surgical operation to remove one or both breasts).

The first woman said her husband told her that he would rather see her dead than see her lose her breasts. The second woman had her operation and waited all day to be picked up by her husband, who never arrived. By nightfall, one of the nurses offered to give her a ride, and she came home to find the house empty.

Obviously, these are extreme cases of a man’s reaction to his wife’s breast cancer, but this is what I see when I see the “I ♥ Boobies” bracelets. I see love of the body parts, not the person being treated—not the patient, not the victim, not the survivor.

Don’t tell me you “understand” why I’m vegan. If you understood you’d be vegan, too.

Understanding doesn’t equal agreement. I understand why Walter White started to cook meth, doesn’t mean I’m gonna buy an RV and a barrel of methylamine.

  • Libertarian: you can't have communism because human nature. Humans are bad. They'll take any excuse to be totally evil to everyone
  • Libertarian: hey let's have a totally unregulated system with zero laws where greed is a virtue.

A few shots in my Power Girl costume! No professional photos of it yet so pictures around my apartment will have to do for now. :) The rest of the photos are on my facebook! This costume was really fun to make/put together. Still need to make boot covers but I can’t wait to wear this to another convention!

I’m no longer watching television in which middle-aged men figure out how to be men. I’d rather watch shows about teenaged girls figuring out what it means to be a monster
